The conference is sponsored by Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology and IEEE. The conference receives a total of more than 3000 papers from hundreds of colleges, universities, enterprises and research institutes in the world. Among them 1350 papers are included in the proceedings of ICISE2009 ultimately. Over 500 hundreds of authors attend the conference in the first two days.
